Jennifer has been practicing family law for over 13 years since her Call to the Bar. She is passionate about what she does and provides realistic and practical advice to her clients regarding potential outcomes while she endeavours to exceed those expectations. Many of Jennifer’s clients have come to her by way of referrals from colleagues or former clients which is a testament to the high degree of care, effort, and excellent quality client service that she provides.

Jennifer has a broad range of experience on all family law issues. Jennifer has significant litigation experience, including both the trial setting and appeals as well as out-of-court negotiations including mediation and binding arbitration.

Regardless of the process chosen, Jennifer strongly advocates for her client’s rights and is not afraid to advise a client to litigate where it is necessary.

Being a parent herself, Jennifer understands the complexities of working through family law disputes and the need to have an advocate on your side to navigate a highly stressful experience. Many of her clients come to her, fearful of the unknown and, at times, feeling paralyzed in deciding on the right path forward. Jennifer guides her clients through this process and provide reassurance and sound advice to assist them in making an informed decision and to allow them to feel at ease in understanding the path forward.

Jennifer is also collaboratively certified for clients who wish to utilize this process. Jennifer’s goal is to provide her clients with a variety of process choices and options, understanding that each client and each family is unique, and what process may be best suited for one family may not be appropriate for another. In this way, clients are not limited in process options based on the services the lawyer can provide, and can choose the best path forward for their family.
